Last month I was in Bangkok and took a random boat tour with my friend Julia. We heard about many scams, but were interested in checking every part of town anyway - even the ugly and sad ones. At some point, the driver stopped and told us to go check the "crocodile farm". There is a famous huge crocodile farm in Bangkok - which I also don't know the conditions of - but this is not the one we went. Instead it was a small zoo with no infrastructure. The sad look on all monkey's eyes struck me. We left the place with a mix of shame for falling into that trap and regret for paying entry - therefore supporting it. What can be done to change that?
